One of the best parts of being an erotica writer is the research.  I am fortunate to have such a supportive, good looking and enthusiastic husband when it comes to this career.  It doesn't hurt that he's well endowed either.  Actually it does hurt sometimes, but it hurts really good.

But I digress.

Mr. Arshad and I have had a fantastic sex life for the ten years we've been together.  Despite my occupation, I know I can be a bit prudish about certain things, and one of those things is porn.  I've never been a porn watcher and would generally get embarrassed and defensive about sex in movies as well.  I mean, seriously, I am not trying to look at boobs in every movie I watch but they seem to be commonplace regardless.  My approach to porn in general was I'd rather be fucking than watching people fuck.



In the last couple of months however, I somewhat innocently and shyly suggested to Mr. A that we watch a porn together.  I didn't have to twist his arm too much.  Since then we've only watched a small handful together but have had some great times doing it.

Whenever I hit some writer's block, Mr. A is always there for me; coming up with characters and scenes with me, encouraging me to watch porn, write with no panties on, touch myself.  I think he likes thinking about it even if he isn't there to witness it.

Today as he left for work, he knew I was feeling a bit awkward about writing a man on man sex scene, so he suggested I watch some gay porn.  I'd never actually watched one before, so I went about finding one with some decent looking guys in it and found one of Angel Santiago and Dominic Santos gettin' it on over on XVideos.  Now, being as this is my first gay porn in a very short list of porn, this is certainly not meant to be a review, but I found the whole experience quite enlightening and helpful.

I thought I'd check out some other titles by the same production company and went to browse a site that came up when searching them called GayBubble.  There was the side scroll bar with a lot of the expected categories; Amateurs, Asian Guys, Bears, Big Cocks, Black Men...scroll scroll scroll and the bottom of the list was something called Thug Orgy.  I couldn't resist.  After clicking the button I'm confronted with a series of stills featuring a bunch of brothas gettin' down and gettin' gay all over the place.

Now, I haven't actually watched any of these titles yet, so I can't attest to their thugginess, but apparently there's a market for it.  I think this definitely merits a watch at some point, perhaps when I've had a few more glasses of wine.
